From the millennium onwards, things changed. The majority of Manchester United shirts didnât feature a collar, with a couple of exceptions. The 2013/14 shirt is one such exception, and though the collar is relatively small, itâs appearance here in a contrasting colour feels like a nice nod to the past.
This shirt is also notable for being the first of the post Sir Alex Ferguson era. Make of that what you will.
